I am the Picture Editor for The Washington Post and have been with the Post, first as a photog, off and on for over 10 years.
During the 'off' years I swam in the deep end of the internet pool as the first Photography Director of both Washingtonpost.com (1996-97) and AOL (1997-99). For the last 6 years I was the Photography Editor for The Washington Post Magazine.
Off-campus activities include teaching in the Visual Edge Workshop (www.visualedge.org) at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies (www.poynter.org) and coordinating the National Press Photographer's Association Best of Photojournalism on the Web contest.
